An open cottage window
white linen in sunshine
a tickling breeze
& Easter grass beyond.
Silver haired
wet faced
wrinkled knuckles as
silver lockets.
Acid shivers
through my humerus.
Mirrored oiled carapace
on six barbed legs
long grain Jasmine larvae
& sustained frequency.
I'm coming home
but I don't live here.
Toe bloodied
through a summer sheet.
A selfless grin.
Did you see me lying naked in Death Valley?
I'm misusing my limbs.
Smell of impatient sweat.
Useless as an office chair.
Abandoned stone
& orchards
& strays
in poppy fields.
Yellow grass.
I loved hanging from your limbs.
